Penalty Save Percentage 50/50 shots saved=98% This means out of all penalty kicks taken towards him， only 2 went past him！ And both those goals might not even have been Manuel's fault because they came from free kicks！ I don't think we know how many penalties he has ever saved… but if you look up “Manuel Neuer” on Youtube， there are lots of clips showing him making amazing saves！ In fact， some people claim he is better than Gigi Buffon who is considered one of the greatest Italian goalkeepers EVER！ Some also say Manuel Neuer deserves more praise than Xavi Hernandez and Iniesta combined……
Accuracy with long throws Manuel threw the ball into 9th minute of stoppage time which led to Thomas Muller’s winning goal——which broke Argentina’s hearts！ Although this doesn't show anything special like having crazy speed or accuracy， it still helps give momentum to your team while you try scoring a late goal！ It can be said that throwing accurate balls into dangerous areas will help score goals sometimes————especially when no defenders are around！ Long throw isn't something every goalkeeper knows How to do well； however， what makes Manuel great is his consistency！
